Conflict: The main character, Cindy has to deal with her mom and her mom's boyfriend, Raffie. Cindy doesn't like him because he insults her and he seems suspicious. Cindy feels as though ever since her mother met Raffie, their relationship has taken a turn for the worst. Now Cindy's mother doesn't spend anytime with her because she's always with Raffie and everytime she tries to talk to her mother about Raffie and how he offends her, they always fight and it always end up worst than it was before the argument. The other conflict that Cindy battles is the one between herself and Bobby Wallace. Bobby Wallace is known to have a bad reputation because he use to be a drug addict last year, he also use to sell drugs and go with Cindy's bestfriend, Jamee.Jamee continuously warns Cindy that Bobby is no good but Cindy won't listen. After Bobby bruised Cindy's wrist, she's starting to wonder, "is this the same Bobby from last year?".Cindy becomes even more suspicious of Raffie and Bobby when she finds out that they might be connected in some way, especially when she finds out that Raffie is a drug dealer!

Point Of View: This story is told in third person point of view.

Who: For the children at St. Christopher's Hospital
What: Raise money and entertain
When: Throughout the four years i'm in high school
Where: Constitution High, The Philadelphia Zoo and St. Chris Hospital
Why: So that the sick kids could have some toys to play with,
so that they wont be bored.
How: Bring twenty dollars (each member) too raise money for the Constitution
High bake sale so that we can raise enough money to go to the Philadelphia Zoo
and have an even bigger bake sale!

The topic I chose for NHD was music.Music has changed over the years because of many people.The person that I chose to write about in the music industry was Frankie Lymon. He was a major influence in the music industry and has made a major impact in so many musician's lives.Diana Ross,Ronnie Spector,The Chantels,The Temptations,Smokey Robinson, Len Barry and Michael Jackson. I chose Frankie Lymon because he was the original "Teenage Idol" and I feel as though his story was untold and he was unappreciated by alot of people that listen to "Rock & Roll" and "R&B"!

Why our country should elect Obama or McCain...

I think my country should support Barack Obama because he is honest,loyal and courageous! Thats what we need as a president.Not some forgetful,old and lying man, that cant even remember house many houses he has.If John McCain forgets about something as small as how many houses he has, than what does that show he's going to achieve in this country? The issue that I chose to discuss/compare is healthcare:

Obama: -Guaranteed Eligibility
 -Comprehensive Benefits
-Affordability
 -Simpler Paperwork
-Public Plan
 -Portability and Choice


-Quality and Efficiency

McCain: -By reforming tax code

 -Allowing families to purchase health care
 -Providing multi-year coverage
 -Develop a financial risk

The difference between the two plans are Barack Obama is looking to rely mostly on the heavy hand of the government and will impose caps on health care premiums and price controls on drug companies. He would then have the government establish national practice standards for health providers and doctors. The National Health Insurance Exchange, another plan he wants to create, will act as a sort of clearinghouse to make it easier for individuals and businesses to shop around for the best health care.

On the other hand, John McCain is looking to attempt promotion of greater competition among health insurance companies, allowing rates to fall from the growing competition across state lines (without any use of the government’s power). The purpose of the plan is allow freedom of choice and puts Americans in the position to insist on lower costs for higher quality, just as we do with any other product or service we purchase.


In Ten Years,I will be...

I would like to become a successful actress.When i was about four years old, I decided that i wanted to become an actress because I always liked what came on T.V and the people that made movies and T.V shows come to life.I wanted to be apart of that! In Ten years, i plan to have money,two kids, and a big house on the "Hollywood Hills". I plan on starring in various types of movies (action,drama,horror,etc) with Larenz Tate,Martin Lawrence,Denzel Washington and my idol, Halle Berry!
